The BLUE Hotel

Rooms: The boutique hotel is made up of 100 elegantly-appointed rooms, plus 36 loft suites.

Restaurants: Have breakfast at BLUE Cafe, and later, unique cocktails at WaterBar. BLUE Sydney is located at The Wharf Woolloomooloo – a restaurant and entertainment complex with plenty of dining options.

Pool: Guests can go for a swim in the 17-meter indoor heated pool.

Other Features: The Sydney Opera House and Royal Botanical Gardens are within walking distance of the hotel, which also has an outdoor sun deck and a fitness center.

Rawnsley Park Station

The resort’s 4 villas were built using recycled materials. The best part? Your ceiling will retract with the flip of a switch.

Rooms: The resort features luxury eco-villas, self-contained homesteads, cabins and campsites.

Restaurants: The Rawnsley Park Station’s restaurant serves regionally-inspired cuisine.

Pool: Swim in the outdoor pool.

The Prince Melbourne

Prairie Hotel

In the South Australian outback, there’s a tiny roadside town called Parachilna, which is home to the one and only Prairie Hotel, known for down-home outback comfort.

Opened In: 1976, but was taken over by the current owners in 1991
