The Sonoran hot dog is found throughout Arizona. Each vendor adds its own personal twist to the basic formula, which starts with a super-fresh Mexican bun and a hot dog surrounded completely with bacon, cooked together so that the bacon flavor melts into the dog. Fixings include beans, chopped tomatoes, onions, mustard, jalapeno sauce and mayonnaise.
