The Sarajevo Tunnel (Tunnel of Hope)
During the Siege of Sarajevo in the midst of the Bosnian War, the Tunnel of Hope linked the neighborhoods of Dobrinja and Butmir, allowing food, war supplies and humanitarian aid to come into the city and people to get out of it.

National and University Library

The Old Bridge Area and the City of Mostar
The Old Bridge is the main landmark of Mostar, a city 85 miles southwest of Sarajevo. First built in 1566 and reconstructed in 2004 after being destroyed in the war, it is commonly known as a spot where adrenaline junkies jump from the bridge into the water.
