Entegra, Renegade and Global Expedition Pictures

Journey to 2 different towns in Indiana to see how Renegade RV builds a custom IKON in Bristol. Then head to Entegra Coach in Middlebury, where high-end RVs are produced en masse. Finally, travel down

Extreme RVs heads to Middlebury, IN, to witness the mass-production process of Entegra's top-of-the-line RV, the Cornerstone.

Entegra's building process begins with a Spartan chassis that is customized for the Entegra floor plan and reinforced with "X-bracing" that stabilizes the frame.

The process of constructing an Entegra RV has 18 different steps. Entegra uses wood for the floor since wood does not conduct sound.

Next, we head south to Global Expedition Vehicles in Nixa, MO, for the construction of their new flagship model, the self-sufficient Pangea.

Appropriately named -- "Pangea" means "all lands" in Greek -- this monster rig is built on an International chassis with a luxurious cab.

What sets the Pangea apart from other all-terrain vehicles is the second story that forms when the outer shell of the body slides up.

The finished Pangea reveals all-over ruggedness with clever high-security features, storage in every nook and cranny and an ergonomically correct design.

For our final stop, we head to Bristol, IN, home of Renegade RV whose name reflects their unique style of building custom motorhomes on a heavy-duty commercial truck chassis, giving their RVs a distinctive profile.

The production crew starts by customizing a Freightliner cab and chassis for the 1-bedroom, 2-and-a-half-bath floor plan with 4 slide-outs.

After the rough wiring and installation of circuits, we see the interior come together after the walls, ceiling, vents, lights, cabinets and electronic components are installed.
