Ghost Adventures: Dakota's Sanatorium of Death

The Ghost Adventures  crew visits North Dakota to explore the San Haven Sanatorium. During the investigation, Zak almost suffers an injury, the crew encounters a slew of disturbing energies and they capture a horrifying EVP.

The Ghost Adventures crew is in northern North Dakota, investigating the now-abandoned San Haven Sanatorium.

Opened in 1912, the sanatorium once housed patients with tuberculosis – a disease that affects a person’s lungs, but can also cause difficulties in other parts of the body.

The building was constructed on Chippewa land, which some eyewitnesses believe could be the root of the property’s problems.

Carson Belgarde started as an orderly in 1983, and worked at the sanatorium until it closed its doors four years later. He provides the crew with more background on the property.

Since its closing in 1987, the sanatorium has been the site of satanic rituals.

Some claim to have been scratched by the spirits and feel their presence on the property.
