Marcus and the Hidden City crew head to Anchorage, AK, where they encounter bitter cold weather and a cast of equally cold characters.

Marcus stays at one of the most haunted places in the US -- the historic Anchorage Hotel. He teams up with paranormal experts Neelie Lythgow and Tony Hernandez to call upon the ghost of slain police chief John J. Sturgus.

Marcus seeks answers to the 90-plus year-old murder mystery and visits Sturgus's gravesite with researcher Doug Beckstead. Beckstead has also been investigating the case and thinks he has identified the killer.

Marcus heads into the Alaskan wilderness to get into the terrified mindset of serial killer, Robert Hansen's victims.

Professional tracker Ty Cunningham takes Marcus through a simulated trail and teaches him how to read the tracks that Hansen's victims would have left behind. Hansen often "hunted" the women he killed.

Marcus chats with an Alaskan State Trooper. The state troopers were not only involved in bringing down Robert Hansen, but were also responsible for combating wildlife crimes.

Marcus continues his time in the wilderness and learns the story of Lucinda Schroeder, a former US Fish and Wildlife special agent.

In 1992, Lucinda Schroeder went undercover to take down one of the most volatile poaching camps in Alaska.

Of course, not all hunters are poachers, so Marcus wants to get a feel for the thrill of the sport. He goes hunting with Lucinda accompanied by hunting guide Steve Johnson.

Marcus learns from a group of Native Alaskans that it's possible to be both a hunter and a caregiver to nature.

Despite the frozen wild, Anchorage proves to be home to some interesting characters and stories. What a great way to end the season.
