We dive into the mud culture at 2 different off road parks. Brick's Off Road Park in Poplar Bluff, MO has one of their biggest weekends of the year. Due to a $6,000 purse for the truck that makes it through the dreaded "Mud Slough" everyone with a big mud truck wants to take a crack at it. They also try a brand new event, side-by-side drag racing in a foot of mud. It's an open event that can pit a monster truck up against a stock jeep and with a $500 cash prize everyone is pushing their trucks to the limit.
We will also get deep in the mud over at Louisiana Mudfest in Colfax, LA. Not even a Tropical Storm can scare Michael Parker, his family, or the park visitors from enjoying their weekend in the mud. The obstacle course is completely under water and the drivers that decide to compete must do so without knowing what they are about to drive over. Two former friends and frequenters of Louisiana Mudfest decide to settle their differences on the drag strip. With a trophy and bragging rights at stake the boys push their trucks to the limit. Once the "fr-enemy's" have a winner a new challenger emerges and wants the trophy for herself.
