Tibetan CultureThe village of Lo Manthang in the remote Mustang region of Nepal is probably the best preserved example of Tibetan culture left on earth. Here, life carries on much as it has since the Middle Ages. Here, a woman weaves yarn by hand while wearing Rastafarian looking yak hair atop her head. 960 1280

Swayambhunath Temple in Kathmandu, NepalSwayambhunath temple in Kathmandu, Nepal is home to hundreds of monkeys who watch over the soaring Buddhist shrine. They’re cute…just don’t take out a candy bar in front of them or it turns into Planet of the Apes. 960 1280
Rain and More Rain in the Cloud Forests of EcuadorTrekking into the cloud forests of Ecuador made for one of the most challenging days in Expedition Unknown history. With constant rain and fog, nearly everything gets soaked. Except for this llama, who brought his own raincoat. 960 1280
Holding it Down on the High SeasWhile traveling the world for a living is an honor, not every day is a walk in the park. Here, my 2 cameramen do their best not to puke while filming in horrible seas off the coast of Florida. You don’t want to see the "after" photo. 960 1280
Coming Full Circle in NepalA few years ago, I was lucky enough to go to the Olympics in Vancouver. I remember standing in line to buy an overpriced red sweatshirt to commemorate my trip to the games. I was recently amazed to see the kid's size of the same sweatshirt a few thousand miles away in the high-altitude Nepalese village of Lo Manthang. Makes me wonder the journey it took to get here. Also, this adorable kid wears it much better than I did. 960 1280
