160; February Travel Channel Sweepstakes: Prize Details
- Round-trip, coach-class airfare from the major continental U.S. airport closest to winner’s home, as determined by Main Sponsor, to Paris
- First-class hotel accommodations in one (1) double-occupancy room (room rate and tax only) for five (5) nights in Paris;
- Round-trip airport transfers between hotel and airport in Paris;
- One (1) dinner at a fine dining restaurant (to be determined by Sponsor) (gratuity and alcohol not included);
- One (1) couples massage;
- Seine River Cruise including dinner (gratuity and alcohol not included);
- $1,000 in spending cash for winner only.
The trip must be completed by February 28, 2013, or Grand Prize Winner forfeits the Grand Prize in its entirety.
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize trip package: $8,840. Actual value may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure and destination. Winner will not receive the difference between actual and approximate retail value. Odds of winning the Sweepstakes Grand Prize depends upon the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
Twenty-Nine (29) INSTANT WIN GAME PRIZES (i.e., one (1) Instant Win Game Prize awarded per day during the Promotion Period): A writing journal embossed with the Travel Channel logo. ARV: $12.00. Odds of winning an Instant Win Prize depends upon the number of eligible entries received at time of each pre-determined, randomly generated timestamp divided by the number of Instant Win Prizes available. Limit: One (1) Instant Win Game Prize per person. TOTAL ARV of all Instant Win Prizes: $348.00.
Trip must be booked at least twenty-one (21) days prior to departure. Trip subject to availability and blackout dates. Travel must be round-trip. Main Sponsor will determine airline, and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made by Main Sponsor in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel and accommodations are subject to availability. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Promotion, and those set forth by the Main Sponsor’s airline carrier, as detailed in the passenger ticket contracts. All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the package description above, including but not limited to, ground transportation, meals, incidentals, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses are the responsibility solely of winner. Travel package does not include transportation to the location of air travel departure, gratuities, bar, and beverage charges or items of a personal nature. Winner’s travel companion must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older as of the date of departure. If Grand Prize Winner’s travel companion is under twenty-one (21) years of age, the Grand Prize Winner must be the travel companion’s parent/legal guardian. Travel companion must travel on same itinerary and at the same time as the winner. Travel companion must execute liability/publicity releases prior to issuance of travel documents. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. Winner and travel companion are solely responsible for obtaining valid passports and any other documents necessary for international travel. Winner and guest are solely responsible for their own conduct while accepting the prize and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to use and enjoyment of the prize, including, but not limited to, consumption of alcoholic beverages. Main Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates.
For All Prizes: No cash equivalent and all prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Main Sponsor’s sole discretion. Main Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES IN THE SWEEPSTAKES: $9,188.
