This tiny Fado house in the middle of the Bairro Alto district gets jam-packed with people who come to hear amateurs try their best at singing Fado. Tony meets up with author Antonio Lobo Antunes for a light dinner and to hear Fado singer Carminho.

Tony plays a popular game of Chinquilho, similar to horseshoe, where metal plates are used (instead of horseshoes). The plates can weigh up to 7-lbs! Players receive 3 points for knocking over the pin, and the first one to 25 points, wins.

A large market that has everything: seafood, fruits and vegetables, cheeses, sausage and more. A traditional market where the suppliers do the selling. Open in the early morning hours until 3 p.m.
