Bizarre Food of the Week: Amuse-Bouche

Los Angeles

In this week's episode of Bizarre Foods America, Andrew Zimmern decides to open up a pop-up restaurant in Los Angeles. For one night, Andrew becomes the chef of his very own California Dreamin' restaurant at the now-closed Royal/T cafe. A fundraiser for a local food bank, the night consists of a 5-course Southern California-inspired menu with a few bizarre touches. The amuse-bouche featured here is composed of Spanish octopus, frisee, mustard, peanut oil, smoked paprika and pig-face bacon -- not your usual appetizer.
