Andrew takes a trip to the local market in the capital of Apia where he checks out the abundance of tropical fruits and exotic delicacies. Andrew eats vee (Samoan apples), ka-ka Pua (pork pies), mutton and se'e (sea slugs, aka sea cucumber).

Andrew forages through the tropical forest for food. He samples tree nut from the terminallia catapa, Samoan chewing gum (white tree sap), water from a drinking vine, Samoan fruit bat and aphouto (coconut grubs on a stick).

Andrew makes his way to a small village on the island of Upolu to take part in a sacred meal on Good Friday called a toe-ah-nigh. Here he samples pig organs and fresh eel with coconut milk and taro leaves.
