American chains are exporting more than just their classic burgers and fries to Latin America. They’re adapting to local tastes by offering Latin American favorites such as empanadas at McDonald's in Cartagena, suspiro donuts at Dunkin' Donuts in Lima and caramelized goat’s milk desserts at Baskin Robbins in Mexico City.
