Meet Zak, Nick and Aaron

Learn about our investigators, Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin and Nick Groff. This trio interviews eyewitnesses and historians at each haunted location, arming themselves with the stories of the ghosts they will later provoke and confront during their dusk-to-dawn lockdowns.

To find out more about the investigations, visit the Ghost Adventures page, and don't forget to tune in Saturdays at 9|8c to follow Zak, Nick and Aaron deep into the lockdown.

Zak Bagans
Lead Investigator

Able to leap and investigate huge structures in a single night, Zak is an action-hero. The ghosts don't stand a chance against the guy with the muscles, the hair and the taunting voice.

Zak leads the Ghost Adventures team into some of the most haunted places known to man in search of evidence proving the existence of the supernatural.

After graduating from film school in Michigan, Zak moved to Las Vegas to pursue a career in documentary filmmaking. There he met fellow Ghost Adventures investigator Nick Groff and cameraman Aaron Goodwin. Their first paranormal investigations as a team took place all over Nevada, and the footage they captured led to an award-winning, nationally televised Ghost Adventures documentary.

Nick Groff
Investigator
Nick is usually the quiet, more laid back one in the trio, but his possession at Moon River may have unleashed his true nature. Even though he's attracted to morgue drawers and other confined spaces, Nick's favorite part of the show is letting Zak go first.

With his detecting equipment and paranormal expertise, Nick has been locked in some of the most sinister locations from dusk to dawn to investigate and capture evidence of the paranormal.

Zak and Nick cofounded the paranormal organization Ghost Adventures Crew (GAC). Its members support one another's quests to investigate possible paranormal activity firsthand. Their biggest event to date was held at the Goldfield Hotel in Nevada.

Aaron Goodwin
Cameraman and Equipment Technician
Referred to by many as a teddy bear, or Zak's bait of choice, Aaron actually hates to be left alone in attics (or just about anywhere). You can also expect to hear him say "dude!" about 20 times per episode.

Always armed with a camera, Aaron travels around the world with the team to record what they experience in each haunted location.

An Oregon native, Aaron moved to Las Vegas where he fell in love with film and taught himself how to edit video and operate a camera. Aaron gained experience by working as a cameraman on numerous TV shows. He's worked on projects ranging from red-carpet movie premieres to sporting events.
