Roosevelt Island Tram
The bright red Roosevelt Island Tram opened in 1976 and is the only Swiss-made gondola in North America used for mass transit. Don and the Off Limits crew rode this Tram while filming a segment on Roosevelt Island.

Officially named Belmont Island, U-Thant is a small artificial island in NYC's East River that was created in the 1890s as a side effect of the construction of trolley tunnel. The tunnels were finished in 1907 and are still in use today.
