The bright red Roosevelt Island Tram opened in 1976 and is the only Swiss-made gondola in North America used for mass transit. Don and the Off Limits crew rode this Tram while filming a segment on Roosevelt Island.
Completed in 1909, the 140,000 sq. ft. Battery Maritime Building was built when ferries were still a vital means of transportation in New York City. Don and the crew hopped a ferry to Governors Island from this historic building.
