Best Chicago Business Hotels

Oyster.com's picks for the best business hotels in Chicago.
Traveling on business to Chicago? Not all business hotels are created equal. Luckily, many business-savvy hotels in the Windy City now come equipped with amenities as diverse as iPod docks and 24-hour concierge service. Check out Travel Channel and Oyster.com's picks for best Chicago business hotels.

The luxurious 415-room Sofitel Chicago, 2 blocks from the Magnificent Mile, is noteworthy for its sleek modern decor and excellent service. It's a haven for business travelers, with plush white beds in the bright rooms, and everything -- the fitness center, business center, room service, and concierge -- available around-the-clock.
This 684-room luxury hotel is in the Loop neighborhood, near the Millennium Park and Lake Michigan. Big rooms have separate soaking tubs and showers (which even pricier hotels lack), iPod docks and 42-inch flat-screen TVs. Add an excellent Asian restaurant, a wine bar, an 11,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, and stunning design by David Rockwell, and you've got one of Chicago's most luxurious hotels in this price range. The Fairmont Gold Concierge Level includes great business-oriented amenities like a private lounge and reception area on the 15th floor, newspapers and magazines, computers (free to use), and free coffee and tea. The hotel also features a free business center with computers, a printer, a copier and a fax machine; same-day laundry; overnight shoeshine; pressing service; a 24-hour concierge; and 62,000 square feet of meeting space.
The InterContinental Chicago features a huge, impressive indoor pool, a 24-hour full-service business center (staffed between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.), 24-hour room service, an acclaimed American restaurant, 2 bars, a fitness center, and thousands of square feet of meeting space. Though there's a $15 fee for Internet access, rooms come with a large flat-screen TV, minibar, coffeemaker and a safe large enough for a laptop.
This 347-room property has a prime location right on the Magnificent Mile, and its big 2-room suites are popular with business travelers who want extra space to spread out. The free house car drop-off service, quality fitness center and 24-hour business center are additional draws.
With a location in the heart of the Loop, 100,000 square feet of meeting space, on-site shopping, a tri-level fitness center, an indoor pool, a spa, and an on-site UPS business center, The Palmer House Hilton is a good choice among the business-friendly hotels in Chicago. Rooms could use an upgrade (most still have tube TVs), but they're clean and comfortable, and offer remote printing and newspaper delivery.
