Boy Records Selfie With Grandma’s Ghost

A young boy playing with his mother’s cell phone may have captured a visitor from beyond the grave.

Jack Osbourne’s quest to convince his parents, Sharon and Ozzy, to believe in the paranormal has taken some strange twists on The Osbournes Want to Believe, but even the Prince of Darkness seemed surprised by cell phone footage captured in the Philippines.

A small child recorded a selfie video on his mother’s phone on Mother’s Day in 2018, and his mom was shocked as she reviewed the videos later that evening.

When the woman initially posted the video to social media, it garnered 300,000 likes and more than 38,000 comments.

Her son is visible at the bottom of the frame as he aims the camera slightly up. After a few seconds, another face creeps into the frame from the upper right side of the screen.

The woman knew immediately — it was her own mother peeking over her young son’s shoulder. Her mother had been deceased for about a year when she looked into the camera with her grandson.

“She doesn’t look very old,” Ozzy said, as the woman appeared behind the boy.

“She looks f— dead though,” Sharon countered.

Ozzy and Sharon ultimately rated the clip as a seven and an eight on their 1-10 scale of scariness.
